As a Raymond Authorized Sales and Service Center and a leading dealer in the Raymond network, Heubel Material Handing is thrilled to announce that Raymond Corporation has been honored with a 2014 IndustryWeek Best Plants Award for manufacturing excellence.
Now in its 25th year, the Best Plants Award recognizes North American companies that achieve manufacturing excellence through practices that increase competitiveness, enhance customer experience, and create rewarding and stimulating work environments. Of the 14 finalists, Raymond was one of six Best Plants winners for 2014.
Raymond models manufacturing excellence
Since the company’s origin in 1922 as a family-run forklift maker, Raymond has continuously worked to produce an array of superior material handling solutions. The company was purchased by Toyota in 2000 and began installation of the renowned Toyota Production System (TPS) seven years later. Today, TPS serves as the foundation of Raymond’s success.
